Thanks for the post. I write a daily horse blog that reads like a book, and I would LOVE criticism from horse folks who like to read. Check it out:

Awhile ago, I was also on the search for what was out there for adult type horse fiction...I ended up compliling 440 book list of adult fiction and roughly 200 of YA books. I have not of course read them all but would be happy to share with anyone. Some are very hard to find and others are probably your favorites as they are mine.

Hi, Anne! I would never delete a comment of someone's creativity - no such luck! :) Besides, from your blog I can tell that you are a great writer - very professional. I have been so behind in my reading and writing (and riding) that I haven't read it yet, but I am glad you shared it and will make a note of it and get back to you with feedback. I think all of us love to hear from readers - otherwise we would just be writing in our diaries.

Thanks for stopping by!

p.s. I did edit your blog to insert the link - hope you don't mind!

Great idea! I look forward to discovering new writers and finding old favorites.

I have a short story that's been published about horses. I feel funny giving the link, though I gave it on my blog long ago. Horses and other animals always sneak into my fiction.

You won't hurt my feelings if you delete this comment. (Might even be a relief!)

Thanks again for putting all this information together.

Hi, Mary! Thanks for the kind words, and for stopping by to say hello. I am totally behind in my blog reading this week, so I will hopefully get time on Sunday to cruise over to see what you ladies have been up to this week. I look forward to it. :)

Kit, Michele, Toni, Thanks for stopping by! I am excited about your Squidoo list - I will have to check it out when I have a little time. I hadn't ever really checked out Squidoo, either, so thank you for leading me there!

Great site! I can see I'll be spending some time here.

I did a list of Best Horse Fiction for Grown-ups at Squidoo. I probably have what you have, but if you want to cross-check, here's the link: http://www.squidoo.com/horsefiction

Thanks for mentioning Equestrian Ink!

Best,
