Another sunny day, another walk with Mojo. You really don’t know how much you enjoy something as simple as a walk until it’s taken away from you. The last four days of being able to actually walk my horse have been wonderful.

The backside of a racetrack is where you see what really goes on at the track. I've made the following pages public so you can see what I'm reading, thinking about, and potentially posting here.

I’m glad your back on your feet and getting out with your boy.
Aw, thanks Beckz! Now to get back to riding! I almost dread it because I know that after almost a month of not riding him, the first few rides will be more testing on his part while I try to remember what leg muscles feel like.
I hear you there JDP—- Dr B finally gave me the clearance to try a 5 minute test ride. I have been working with Sonny the Rehab Horse to build him up slowly for it, and I can not WAIT to crawl up there……
For you,….. hehehe…. I hope you have a hot tub handy!
But no matter what the leg says, it is going to be total and complete BLISS to get back up on Mojo!
I am wicked excited for you. There is nothing quite like it in the world is there?
Happy to hear you are feeling better, a knee injury is one of the worst things, take care not to overdo it though. It is nice that the weather will be turning warmer soon, enjoy everyday.
I have faith the Mojo will take care of you and only challenge when you need to start exercising those muscles more. Take care.
Well if you’re worried about your first ride, does your horse know how to be tied around. If you let him fight with himself first until he gets soft that should take care of any issues so you are safe. It sure doesn’t hurt the horse and it puts their mind in the right place.
Mrs Mom, I wish I still had a hot tub – they are heaven! I am so glad you are feeling better as well. I’m busy training for a new job so I won’t have time to ride until this weekend. I intend to get the all-clear from my chiro tomorrow! Every time I get on Mojo when it’s been a while or I’ve been riding another horse, it’s like coming home – ahh… this is my horse.
GHM, Yes, I think that this time I will have to eventually get surgery. But it’s spring and I am happy about that!
NuzMuz, Thank you for the sweet thoughts. I think my faith in Mojo and his in me is growing. We have come a long way.
MiKael, I’m not sure I know what you mean by ‘tied around’. Do you mean tied to the stirrup iron? I’ve seen it done, but never done it myself. I trust your take on things so I’d like to hear more about it and why you think it works.
